What does a fitness lifestyle mean to you?
I've made a life choice. I've decided to not only include fitness in my life, but to truly make it a lifestyle. Not only is it a job (teaching yoga AND working for a fitness social media marketing company), but it's truly a passion. Nobody could take as many yoga pose pictures as I do and not love it, right?!

The term "fitness lifestyle" to me is all inclusive. For me specifically, I'm generally always in yoga clothes, like
prAna's Ashley Legging Pant. They're comfortable and supportive, I feel good in them, they're flattering, they
can be fashionable (hello boots!) and they enable me to always be active at the drop of a hat. Yes, I like wearing dresses and jeans and heels upon occasion. But I hate when I'm in a dress and want to bust a handstand. (Hint, those two things don't always work together.)

Leggings and boots are my uniform most of the year! |
I make fitness an absolute priority. It's not a "hope I make it to the gym today" kind of thing. Some sort of activity is a mandatory part of my daily schedule pretty much every day. If it's a maybe thing, it's more likely not to happen. I always have running shoes in my car. That way, if I have extra time, I can always sneak in a run or gym session, even if I don't have my gym bag with me. I plan long hiking excursions on the weekends. I move my schedule around so I can go for a long trail run out in the Gorge some mornings before work. Whatever it is, I include it in my day.

Yes to always keeping a pair of running shoes in the car. It's the best to be able to get up and go whenever you please! ;) LOVE this post!
