#liveinprAna: Favorite buddy workout

For a long time, since playing sports and training with teammates, I've enjoyed working out solo. A lot of times I still do. However, getting to run with Jamie and Tasha; hike with Caitlin, Jules, and Ella; attend Sweat Pink bootcamp; do yoga with…everyone, is SO much fun!

I don't have a lot of experience with partner yoga, also known as acro yoga. But sometimes it's just fun to play! You can create shapes and postures you just couldn't by yourself.





Hiking/skiing/runchatting with a friend is so much fun! It's a great way to combine getting in a workout, exploring somewhere in nature, and having a date with a friend! 




I've become a big fan of the runch runchat. In other words, meeting friends on our lunch hour for a run and chat session. It's a great way to get the blood pumping in the middle of the day and see friends! And Jamie sure knows how to push a girl's pace! Whew!


Attending Sweat Pink bootcamp makes me feel like I'm an athlete in training all over again, in the best way possible. Mixing sprints and burpees, mountain climbers and squat jumps, weighted runs and tricep dips… I'm getting tired just thinking about it. But we're all in it together. We all leave smiling and feeling good at the end of the day, and that's what's important.
